Managing Change: Danger or Opportunity
Ken Everingham is scheduled to present the Managing Change: Danger or Opportunity workshop on Wednesday, August 18 from 12 – 1 pm via Zoom.
People have a penchant for controlling events as a way to feel in control of their lives. As the world around us continues to rapidly accelerate, the number of changes we experience on a daily basis creates a conflict with our basic desire to feel in control. One of the consequences of this conflict is we experience anxiety. Our challenge is to manage this anxiety by maintaining an adequate balance between the amount of change we experience and our perceived control over it.
The above situation generally describes our day-to-day experience. The past year has pushed many of us to deal with a higher volume of significant change, creating even more uncertainty and anxiety.
During our hour together, we will explore:
- The nature of change and our responses to it
- Strategies for managing change
- Tactics to assist with our organization’s successful adaptation to major change
Come join us for a highly interactive session with “takeaways” you will be able to use immediately.
